COMMISSION FAQ 

How long will my portrait take?

Between 1-8 weeks depending on the portrait size and my schedule. If you need your portrait  for a special day accommodations can usually be made 

Christmas is a busy time to avoid disappointment make sure you order early. 

How do I pick a photo?

Higher quality images are preferred. Photos with a clear shot of your pets face / body are ideal 

Low quality photos are challenging to work with and will result in a less detailed portrait

The more photos the better but I can work with 1-3 Photos. I want to make sure I can see your pets special markings and the truest colour of their fur.

White Dog offers a reference photo service where we can come to you and get the shots we need . (Local Ottawa Area only)  

I want my two pets together in a portrait but don't have a photo with them both in it?

 I am able to combine photos in my work this is a little more labour intensive so I do need multiple photos of each pet. Recommended 5+ photos of each

 

Do you paint people?

Yes however this is a case by case basis. Your reference photos must be excellent. 

My human portrait sizes start at 12x16

What if I want a bigger size?

I love working on special projects especially larger sizes please email for a personalized quote 

Do you offer shipping?

Yes!  I offer free shipping Canada wide. 
** There is additional charges for oversized work over 40 inches 

 I can ship worldwide. Quotes can be provided upon request

*Tariffs, Customs, and Duty of packages are the responsibility of the recipient 

 Do you offer framing?

I do not offer framing services however my work can be displayed frameless for a modern look
